2nd Annual Delete Day Takes Place

DELETE DAY is a completely student inspired and developed event led by TMLA service homeroom members. TMLA's second annual Delete Day took place in early May. The purpose of Delete Day is to give students a chance to change their email and fix their Facebook, Twitter, and other social media accounts, taking out anything that shows a lack of respect for themselves or others.With everyone creating a more positive internet image of themselves, peer pressure worked the other way- for the better.The event has received international media attention, including by MTV and The Huffington Post. At least 300 students participated in the event this year.
