In the recent National Language Competitions in Italian, Latin and Spanish, TMLA had close to 100 student winners. Twelve TMLA students were recognized by the Association of Teachers of Italian for their superior performance on the National Italian Exam including one scholarship winner. More than 50 students from the Department of Latin achieved honors ranging from Summa Cum Laude to Cum Laude. One student achieved a perfect score on this rigorous international exam administered to more than 100,000 high school students around the world. Students in the Spanish Department achieved honors on the Gold, Silver and Bronze levels.
