3 from TMLA are named Commended Students in the The National Achievement® Scholarship Program

A part of the National Merit program, this is an academic competition established in 1964 to provide recognition for outstanding Black American high school students. Of the more than 160,000 students nationwide who entered the National Achievement® Program for the Class of 2009, approximately 4,000 are honored with a commendation.
