March 12th-14th will see TMLA's Robotics team make their first appearance at the US First National Robotics competition at The Javits Center in NYC.TMLA is the ONLY all-girls school, public or non-public, to be entered into the 2010 competition, dubbed the Varsity Sport of the Mind.
TMLA Robotics program has been making great strides in the development of its school robots. Here team members, along with moderator, Mr. Vinod Lala, demonstrate one of the first robots they have built. Watch the video here. TMLA alumna, Kathy Rutherford '78, initiated a donor drive to support the program. To date, $7,500 has been donated by alumnae. Thank you to our generous alumnae.
