Snow & Regents

Having to navigate your way through a 19 inch blanket of freshly fallen snow is not the best way to start off a Regents exam, but that's exactly what TMLA students did during the recent snowstorm. TMLA remained open so that those students who could safely make it to school would be able to take their Regents exam. Assistant Principal, Mrs. Ann Cordes, supervised the day along with the aid of Ms. Geis, Mrs. Chua, Mrs. Salpepi, Mr. Dave, Mr. Lipari, S. Joan Heptig, S. Mary Ann McCarthy, S. Grace Avila, S. Mary Powell and S. Margaret Anella. Their work is greatly appreciated because a good number of students did make it to school to take their Regents exam. These young ladies should be commended for their dedication to serious study. Click on photo for larger image. (Photo S. 1. Kudos to the students and to the wonderful school community members who came in to provide them the opportunity to take January Regents exams. A great example of the TMLA we all know and love!!
